Our Story

How it all started...

This work began as a cell group in the house of some brothers. When this church began, it was named "Iglesia Cristiana El Buen Pastor" (Good Shepherd Christian Church). This work was built by Pastor Alfredo Diaz in 1961 where he pastored until he appointing Aida Reyes as his successor in 1964.
Pastor Reyes watched over the work until 1973.
Brother David Garcia served as the third pastor, from 1973 to 1974.
Jacobo Bonilla led for the next 5 years.
The fifth pastor of the church was our sister Milagros Ramos' beloved father. Brother Radamés Velez was pastoring from 1979 to 1985.
Roberto Rodriguez took care of the work for the following year.
The seventh pastor, Brother César Velez, pastored the church from 1987 until 2004 when he appointed our beloved current pastor, Rev. Ramón Luis Ramos Jr.

In 2007, a new vision for the church developed in the heart of Pastor Ramos and in accordance with the board members, the name changed to what we know, enjoy and celebrate today: Kingdom Way Pentecostal Church.

Expanding the vision...

We believe in expanding the kingdom of God by sharing the gospel and supplying physical needs throughout the nations. For that reason, we have contributed to the construction of churches in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and Milagros, Ecuador. Our missions department also supports ministries in Colombia and Argentina to help feed dozens of children in need.
