Kingdom Way Pentecostal Church (previously known as the Good Shepard Pentecostal Church) was established in Spring st, Danbury, CT in 1960 by the Assembly of God. The church was planted and lead by pastor Velez and from its inception the church began to thrive and establish its presence and significance to the city of Danbury. Home to many Hispanic families from different Latin American countries, the Good Shepard was heavily adored by the locals for its love for God and it love for people.

One of the early challenges the Good Shepard faced was the drug dealing, drug addicts and prostitution that was heavily prevalent on its street and neighborhood. However, the Good Shepard was not intimidated, but felt compassion and compelled to serve and introduce thier neighbors to Jesus Christ. it was through the continual love and support shown by our church members and the partnership with other nonprofit community outreach programs hat this street became safer and more helpful.

One member, Ramon Ramos, who grew up in this church would make an impression on the Good Shepard family after he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He would go on from deacon, to minister, to assistant pastor for 14 years. Then in 2004, pastor Velez announced his departure from the church and installed Mr. Ramos as the Lead Pastor.

It was under Pastor Ramos's leadership that the Good Shepard would continue to grow in members and advance in the fulfillment of its mission. Under Pastor Ramos the Good Shepard grew so much that they started to have their Sunday worship services at Immanuel Lutheran in order to have more space for the members to congregate. it was also under Pastor Ramos that the church name was changed from the Good Shepard to Kingdom way after the Lord gave him a new and stronger vision for the church. Pastor Ramos would also start a Bible Institute division of the Assembly of God's Global University, in which he is currently the Principal. He is also currently in the process of building a church in the Dominican Republic called Kingdom way Puerto Plata.

The most recent and probably most exciting venture Pastor Ramos has undertaken, is the purchase of a new building on 39 Rose st, Danbury, CT. this new location provides a new church for Kingdom way members and visitors. the building has 2 floors and many rooms that will also be occupied for ministerial purposes.
